We have been planing and dreaming of family trails, since Aiste was pregnant, so after we got an invitation from some of our friends we decided this was the time to introduce Lukas to hiking. The trail is in Pulo do Lobo, close to Mértola is about 6 Km and it was considered difficult, but after some pro’s and cons we decided that if things got really hard we would go back and take him in turns if needed, and so we went.
Things turned out a lot better than what we expected and most of that we think is because our friend took a small dog and that alone kept Lukas entertained for the entire hike, he was calling and running after the dog for hours.
It was a wonderful experience and one that we surely want to repeat.
